FRTOL means  FLIGHT RADIO TELEPHONY OPERATOR LICENCE

 

 

This license allow to transmit on radio in the aircraft

when we submit our RTR(A) or COP (for more details see categories FRTOL) to DGCA we get this red book call FRTOL it is valid till the period RTR is valid or COP is valid.  To renew this licence we have to renew  RTR or COP usually we get this licence when we submit our documents to DGCA for conversion FTOL fees is approx 5000RS
